1. How do I order my Create! stationery?
Ordering from Chartula Create! is easy. Simply select one of our Create! designs and colour combinations (choose from over 60 of our favourites or create your own combination from scratch).
You can tailor any of the combinations by choosing to change the design, cover colour, insert colour, ribbon colour or ribbon width. When you're happy with your choice choose the stationery items you would like.
Our Create! stationery can be made into almost anything you would like. We've put together a list for you called "I would like to make...". If you select one of these stationery items we will send you all the necessary pieces to create that stationery item (to see what's included click on the question mark next to each item). Alternatively under "I would like to order extra..." you can choose to order extra covers, inserts, ribbon lengths or envelopes to create your own stationery item.
Once you're happy with your choices add your stationery to your basket. But don't worry the fun doesn't stop there, you can continue shopping until you have all the Create! stationery you would like.
Finally place and pay for your order, then sit back and wait for it to be delivered!
Oh and don't worry, with your order we include handy hints for tying your ribbon and printing your inserts, so you can have lots of fun creating your dream stationery!
What is a "Design"?
A gorgeous Chartula design, laser cut into your outer card cover. Choose from our cool but romantic Fleur Heart, pretty Butterfly Kiss or our playful Fleur Folly.
3. What do you mean by the "Outer Card"?
A beautiful card cover in the Chartula Create! design and colour of your choice. Made of a high quality 270gsm wove card, laser cut and professionally scored.
4. What is meant by the "Insert Sheet"?
A cut to size insert sheet for you to print and fold at home. Choose from:

Our ribbon is supplied as one long length for you to cut to size. We allow 73cm for each Create! stationery item and/or extra ribbon you order. This is enough to tie any of the bows and knot styles that you see! Choose from two widths:
6. How Do I Order Create! Samples?
Ordering a sample is a great way to get a feel for the style and quality of Chartula Create! stationery. And you can test our paper inserts in your printer too!
Simply visit the "Samples" page and choose your favourite cover design and colour, insert colour, ribbon colour and width. Then change the "Order a Sample" quantity to 1 and click Add to Basket. Follow the steps to place and pay for your sample order.
7. How Much Do Samples Cost?
Create! samples cost £1.99 or £2.60 each. But don't worry because we will credit the cost of your first three samples towards any Create! stationery order you place. Simply keep a note of your Create! Personal ID when you buy your samples and enter it in the appropriate box when you place your Create! stationery order.
8. What is Included with My Samples?
Every Create! sample includes an outer cover (in your chosen design and colour), inner insert (in your chosen colour) and ribbon (in your chosen colour and width).
We also include an extra inner insert in either our laser/inkjet approved or guaranteed paper (the opposite of whichever you have chosen so you will receive one of each to test).
Create! samples do not include an envelope. They are supplied as components ONLY ie we do not supply printed or assembled samples.
9. Can I Order Different Samples?
Yes, you can order as many different samples as you like! N.B. Only your first three samples will be credited towards your Create! stationery order.
10. Tell me about Create! Invitations
Create! Invitations include an outer cover, inner insert, ribbon and envelope. To create your Invitations simply print your inner insert with your invitation wording, fold in half and tie into your cover with your ribbon.
For a traditional invitation print your wording on the inside right page of your folded insert. Or print your invitation wording on the very first page of your folded insert and use the remaining pages to print travel, accommodation and other information for your guests.
11. What are Create! Invitations with Info Inserts?
Create! Invitations with Info Inserts include an outer cover, two inner inserts, ribbon and envelope. To create your Invitations with Info Insert simply print your inner inserts with your invitation and information wording, fold both inserts in half and tie into your cover with your ribbon.
Invitations with Info Inserts are really handy if you have lots of information to give your guests or if you are arranging a weekend of events. It's completely up to you how you choose to arrange the wording on your inserts but it's nice if the invitation part stands alone from the general information. Consider putting the actual wedding invitation wording on the very first page, with information on the following pages. Or alternatively if you are arranging a weekend of events then create an invitation booklet. This could include a separate invitation to each event on it's own page - with the information for that event on the page opposite.
12. What makes up a Create! Order of Service / the Day (Short)?
Create! Order of Service / the Day (Short) include an outer cover, inner insert and ribbon. To create your Order of Service / the Day (Short) simply print your inner insert with your Order of Service / the Day wording, fold in half and tie into your cover with your ribbon.
Create! Order of Service / the Day (Short) are ideal for a civil ceremony or partnership, or a religious ceremony with two hymns or less. One insert will create four pages for you to print.
For a religious ceremony it is usual to only write the names of the readings and reader (rather than the whole reading itself), but you should include the words to your hymns, list the main parts of your ceremony and any other parts of the service that your guests are expected to join in with.
For a longer ceremony or religious ceremony which requires more participation from your guests, three hymns or more or wording to several prayers or readings then consider ordering our Create! Order of Service / the Day (Long) or simply order extra Create! inserts.

For a religious ceremony it is usual to only write the names of the readings and reader (rather than the whole reading itself), but you should include the words to your hymns, list the main parts of your ceremony and any other parts of the service that your guests are expected to join in with.
For a longer ceremony or religious ceremony which requires more participation from your guests, four hymns or more or wording to several prayers or readings then consider ordering extra Create! inserts.

How To:
To create your Menus simply print your inner insert with your Menu wording, fold in half and tie into your cover with your ribbon.
Top Tips!
Print your menu on one page and wine list or vegetarian options on the opposite. Consider adding a personal note on the back page of your insert thanking your guests for sharing the day with you, or to acknowledge anyone special who is not able to be there. You can also add any informative notes such as, "You will find disposable cameras on your table - please have fun taking photos!"
Create! Thank You Cards

How To:
To create your Thank You Cards simply print or hand write your inner insert with your thank you message, fold in half and tie into your cover with your ribbon.
Top Tips!
A hand written message in your thank you card is much more personal than a printed message and provides you with the opportunity to thank each guest personally.
Order Extra Covers
Choose this option if you would like an extra cover in your chosen design and colour. Combine with extra inserts, ribbon and envelopes or use your own. Extra covers are perfect if you would like to create your very own piece of stationery from scratch but want to include one of our fab designs, or if you are decorating your covers and would like some spares for mistakes.
Order Extra Inserts
Choose this option if you would like an extra insert in your chosen colour. Ordering extra inserts is a great idea if you think you may want to include additional pages of text in your stationery or to have some spares for mistakes.
Order Extra Ribbon
Choose this option if you would like extra ribbon in your chosen colour and width. It's a great idea if you think you may want matching ribbon for other areas of your wedding, for example to tie around flowers, favours or as other decoration.
Our ribbon is supplied as one long length for you to cut to size. We allow 73cm for each Create! stationery item and/or extra ribbon you order. This amount is enough to tie any of the bows and knot styles that you see.

Choose this option if you would like extra envelopes. Ordering extra envelopes is always a good idea to allow some spares for mistakes when addressing them.

Create! I will Print and Assemble
Create! I will Print and Assemble is the most cost-effective solution. Receive all the components, print the inserts on your laser or inkjet printer and tie the ribbons yourself.

Practice your wording on ordinary white paper as many times as you need and then invite your friends to help you tie the ribbons.

Create! Ready For Me To Use
If you are pressed for time, select our Ready For Me To Use option. Your Create! stationery will be delivered printed and assembled.
Choosing your Typeface & Layout
To choose your typeface and layout, click where shown and a large window will open containing examples of all the options available. Browse the example typefaces and click on the one which you prefer. In some cases you will also be offered a choice of layout (eg "centred" or "justified") to click on.
Once you are satisfied with your choice(s) click on the "OK" button in confirmation and the window will close. Your choice of typeface and layout will be shown on the main screen.
Top Tips!
Think about the impression you want to create. For a contemporary look, a mixed typeface that is justified looks great, or for a traditional feel, a script typeface that is centred is perfect.
How to Send Your Wording
Write your wording in a Microsoft Word document. Please type in upper and lower case and justify to the left regardless of your chosen typeface and layout. We suggest you check your wording very carefully and ask two of three of your friends or relatives to do so as well. Save the Word document on your computer in the usual way.
To send your wording to us, click the Browse button on the order form and navigate to the wording on your computer.

Our Create prices include one round of proofs and revisions. Additional proofs/revisions are charged for. To avoid unnecessary costs please double check your wording before you send it to us and only send the final wording that you are completely happy with.
Create! Personal ID
Create! Personal IDs are unique ten character codes, such as ABCDE12345, which we issue to you when you order one or more Create! samples. We notify you of your Create! Personal ID in the confirmation email sent to you after you place your sample order.
