Haute Fleurie Laser Cut and Letter Press Wedding Stationery
We were introduced to the delightful Corrie and James by one of our favourite wedding planners Siobhan Craven-Robins. Corrie loved our laser cutting but also had a real thing for letterpress wedding invitations. As the then features editor for Glamour magazine, we knew she was onto a good thing! And so came our Haute Fleurie. Laser cut gate fold wedding invitations on the outside, with a beautiful letterpress invitation inside. The perfect package. It turned out to be a match made in heaven and the Haute Fleurie is now part of our wedding stationery collection.
'I've always loved letterpress wedding invitations, so when Corrie confessed that she was torn between letterpress and laser cut stationery I was super excited. It hadn't been done before - letterpress lends itself to weighty 600gsm cotton card, where as laser cutting struggles on weights of more than 350gsm - it's simply too thick to burn all the way through. But I do love a challenge! With the different card weights in mind, it had to be two separate pieces to do both processes justice. Corrie was planning a traditional wedding, and it was important to include some traditional cues. And so one thing really fixed the other. A traditional letterpress invitation encased in a pretty laser cut gatefold cover. Beautiful on the inside and out - just like the bride.
As well as the letter press wedding Invitation we also created an Information Card and laser cut Reply Card, all neatly tied up in the laser cut gatefold cover. Complete with Menu Place Cards, Order of Service and Escort Cards. Invitations are letter press printed in Duck Egg on Cream 600gsm cotton card. All other stationery is litho printed in Duck Egg on Eggshell 300gsm antique card. Hand finished with a Pearl satin ribbon, with matching envelopes.
Invitations and covers from £2500. Packages from £5000.
